3 Year Check-up

Well, it's official, I'm getting so big!  Mommy and I went to the Dr. on Monday for my 3 year check-up and our physicals for adoption (I'll talk more about this shortly).  Ever since I got sick and ended up in the hospital, I am not too sure about Dr.'s but Mommy assured me that the Dr. just wanted to make sure that I was getting bigger like I am supposed to be.  The Dr. told me and Mommy that I am doing just perfect.  I am 38 inches tall and weigh 32 pounds.  (Slightly over the 50th on height and weight.)  After the Dr. was done checking me, he checked Mommy.  She is doing well too.  Mommy had to get 2 shots (luckily, I didn't have to get any.)  Once we were done, the Dr. gave me a really cool Dora and Diego sticker.  After we left the Dr.'s office, we went downtown to pick up some paperwork that Mommy needed for the adoption stuff and then we headed to Daddy's football game.  It was a great day!!!

As I mentioned above a couple times, we have been working on getting the adoption paperwork all updated.  Mommy, Daddy and I are all really looking forward to adding a baby brother or baby sister the our family.   Since I am a big girl now, Mommy and I keep taking the baby stuff out of my room and putting it in the "baby" room.  All I know is that my new baby brother or sister is going to have lots of fun toys to play with and if it's a sister, she's going to have a ton of super cute clothes!   The hard thing now, and the part I don't really understand is the wait.  Mommy and Daddy keep telling me that God has a plan and that we need to trust him, but I am ready now to have a baby brother or sister.  I am not used to having to wait for things.  Please keep us in your prayers as wait to see the plans that God has for our family. 

I am off now to go have fun (which is pretty much all I know how to do!).  If Mommy and I can ever figure out how to upload pictures again, I will but until then, you will just have to check out the pictures Mommy and Daddy put on facebook!
