2012

Okay, Okay...I know I said we'd be better this year, but it just continues to be sooo busy.  Let me give you some updates...starting with Christmas...

This year Christmas was great.  It started in mid December when Mommy, Daddy and I traveled to Elkhart to see Daddy's family.  We had fun opening presents and eating yummy food for the day.  Some of my favorite presents included my Minnie Mouse dress-up clothes, my Little People School bus and my digital camera (I have gotten really good at taking up close pictures of my face!).  After a fun day, it was time to travel back home.  The next weekend, I got to open more presents.  Grandma and Grandpa brought over presents including a table and chairs that it just my size, a pink umbrella and bunk beds for baby Gracie and baby Molly.

The next day, Santa came (early) and I got a new doll (Zoey), a laundry set (so I can wash all of Gracie, Molly and Zoey's clothes) and a bunch of other stuff.

The end of that week was great because Mommy and Daddy only had to work 3 days and I got to spend Thursday and Friday with them.  On Friday, we drove to Indianapolis to open more presents.  Some of my favorites were a bed for Zoey, a backpack that is just my size and has my name on it, my princess castle and the My Little Ponies!  I must say, I could get used to openings presents every couple of days...

The next day we drove the airport in the car, rode from the parking lot to the airport terminal on a bus, took some magic stairs to the gate and then flew on not 1, not 2, but 3 big airplanes on our way to Florida (although, I think I was the only one that was excited about 3 airplanes in one day).  After a day of travel and a quick overnight stay in a hotel, we finally got to the condo on Christmas Day.  It was really nice and had 2 pools, and a playground and all kinds of fun stuff for me to do.  For the next couple of days, we spent time playing in the pool, going to the beach and riding on a big boat.  Before we knew it, it was time to come home.  This time we only rode on 2 airplanes, but I still got to ride on the magic stairs, magic sidewalks and a bus.

Even though Florida was fun and warm, I liked getting to spend a couple more days with Mommy and Daddy before they had to go back to work (even if we were all a little bit sick...nothing a good antibiotic couldn't cure).

January proved to be as busy of a month as the others. Probably the biggest news out of this past month is that I am no longer wearing diapers.  I am in big girl panties during the day and a pull-up when I sleep!  Everyone is really excited, but may favorite part has to be the treats I get when I go potty!!!

We are now a couple of days into February (although with this mild winter we have been having you'd think it was closer to April!).  We went to Indianapolis this past weekend which was great because I got to see Aunt Kristin and Uncle Kevin.  Then, we came home and had a Super Bowl party.  We all hung out in the basement and ate yummy food, played with toys and watched the football game.

For the rest of this month, I am looking forward to a sleepover that I am having with Aunt Stephanie in a couple weeks while Mommy and Daddy have their college friends over for a party.  Other than that, I am just hoping that the month goes fast and we get closer and closer to Spring.  I am pretty sure I overheard Mommy and Daddy talking about going to visit Mickey and Cinderella for Spring Break so I will keep you posted.

Pictures from the past 2 months to come...
