So many updates...

Alright...I know that it has been a while since I last updated so bear with me here. I have a ton of updates and lots of pictures for you to see!

December was a crazy month. As you all know, Jesus has a birthday in December and he and I are buddies. Every night before I went to bed, I would give baby Jesus a kiss. I was lucky enough to get invited to his birthday party (although I am pretty sure it is an open invitation for everyone!). A couple of days before his party, I got really sick. Daddy and I had driven to Warsaw to visit Mommy and go to lunch. I was doing fine there, but after my nap when we got home, I woke up and wasn't feeling very good. Grandma and Grandpa came over and Mommy took my temperature. It was 100 degrees. Mommy and Grandma gave me some Tylenol and a bath and I started to feel better. I went to bed and slept really well. The next morning when I got up, Daddy took my temperature again and it was normal. I felt much better so we went to visit my babysitter (Ninnie) and give her a Christmas present. She asked Daddy if I could stay to play, have lunch and take my nap and so he left me there so he could work on some school stuff. When I woke up from my nap, I was really hot and was having a hard time breathing. Ninnie called Daddy and he came and got me. We went over to see Grandpa and he and Daddy took me to the Dr. Mommy and Grandma met us there and the Dr. gave me some medicine and did a breathing treatment but didn't want to send me home until I saw a special Dr. Mommy, Daddy, Grandma and I went to the hospital to see the special Dr. I had to stay overnight in the hospital, I had an IV and had to have oxygen and breathing treatments through the night. I was really sick, but Mommy and Daddy said I was a trooper. (The Dr. said that I had bronchitis, pneumonia and an ear infection.) I got better really fast at the hospital and got to go home the day before Jesus' two day birthday party started.

Jesus' party started on Christmas Eve. All of Mommy's brothers and sisters (my Aunts and Uncles) as well as Grandma, Grandpa, Mommy and Daddy were at the party (it was at Grandma and Grandpa's house). We hung out all day, played, ate assorted dips and chips and after my nap started opening presents (even though the party was for Jesus we all had presents to open). After we opened presents, we got all dressed up and went to church to celebrate some more. We sang lots of great Christmas songs!

After church, we had our traditional Christmas Eve homemade pizza and then I went to bed because I knew there was more fun to be had the next day. When I woke up on Christmas Day (Jesus birthday) I got out to the living room and saw more presents under the tree. Before I could open them, though, I had to have my breathing treatment and breakfast. After that, I opened more presents and got ready to head back over to Grandma and Grandpa's house. I got to hang out with more of my favorite people (Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and Parents). We did more playing and eating.

A couple of days later, I went to the Dr. for my 18 month checkup. He also checked my lungs and ears to see if everything was getting better. Sure enough, he said that I was doing much better. I weighed in at 21lbs 4 oz and just under 32in. I haven't really grown much since my 15 month checkup, but he said that I am doing just fine. I am just petite (whatever that means!). I had to get two shots, but I was tough...only cried for a couple of seconds. Before I knew it, I had completely forgotten about the shots.

The next day, we went to Elkhart to celebrate Jesus' birthday one more time with Daddy's family. I was really excited to meet my Great-Grandparents (Grandma Alice's Mommy and Daddy). My Uncle Rick, Aunt Ashley and Great Uncle David were also there with Mommy, Daddy, Grandpa Rich and Grandma Alice. We again opened more fun presents and ate more good food!

All in all, it has been a roller coaster of a month, but came to a great end when Grandma, Grandpa and Aunt Stephanie came over for New Years Eve.

2010 has been a great year and I can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for us!
Below are some pictures of all the things I have been writing about. Enjoy!

THE NIGHT I GOT SICK
Just hanging out with my Grandpa. I wasn't feeling too good.

Grandma is soo funny!
(who would think that that next night I would be in the hospital hooked up to a bunch of machines!)

THE HOSPITAL
Here I am at the hospital. I got to go for rides in a wagon down to the playroom. They had lots of fun toys to keep me busy.

Here you can see some of the machines I was hooked up to. All I wanted to do was run around, but I kept getting tangled up in the cords!

CHRISTMAS EVE
I know you have eaten a lot of dip, Daddy, but it's time to open presents!

You are going to have to help me, Mommy. I'm not really sure what to do here...
