Emerson: Busy Weekend

We had the best weekend. Friday night I got to go to Aunt Stephanie's house. She took care of me and my friend Sophia while Mommy, Daddy, Jennifer and Armando went to dinner and a movie. We had a good time playing, fussing, eating and sleeping. On Saturday Mommy and Daddy took me to my first gymnastics meet. Mommy worked at the meet. (I am not sure what she was doing but she looked pretty important!) I got to sit in the stands with Daddy, Grandma and Grandpa. After the meet, we went to an early dinner. It was really exciting because I got to sit in a highchair instead of in my carseat. (Mommy and Daddy kept talking about how big I am getting!) After dinner, it was off to church (which I slept through...what, I was tired...I had a busy day). On Sunday, I hung out with Mommy and Daddy and then went over to Grandma and Grandpa's house while Mommy and Daddy went to class. Sunday night we had a nice relaxing night before Mommy and Daddy went back to work for the week. On Monday, we got up and got ready like normal. Much to my surprise, Mommy was at Grandma's house when Daddy dropped me off there. Unfortunately, she was sick...but that meant we got to spend the day together. Grandpa and Uncle Dan were sick too, so it was a full house. In the afternoon, Mommy and I went home and we had so much fun. We played and Mommy took lots of pictures of me.
